I hold a Master of Counselling and am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). I also have two Bachelor of Arts degrees — one in Studies in Religion and another in Political and International Studies. My work sits at the intersection of spirituality and science — the space where meaning meets method. I use evidence-based therapeutic practices within a spiritual and existential framework to support holistic, individualized growth. This approach allows us not only to heal from trauma, but to understand how your experiences have shaped who you are, the choices you’ve made, and where you find yourself today. From that awareness, we can move forward — toward the next and best version of you, however that may look. I bring over 30 years of experience working with individuals and groups within a spiritual framework, with a special interest in empowering clients to reclaim their sense of self and redefine their goals and values as they navigate life’s transitions. I work primarily with adults experiencing existential crisis, identity challenges, trauma, and life transitions. These often present as anxiety and/or depression, or a sense of loss and confusion that is unexplainable. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to collaboratively explore your struggles and challenges. Clients often describe my approach as grounding, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the individual’s lived experience. With a deep academic understanding of religious ideologies, I also assist individuals seeking to heal from, or deconstruct, limiting religious doctrine that may be impacting their wellbeing, relationships, or sense of purpose. My counselling draws on Existential Therapy, Trauma-Informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Practices, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) — each adapted to meet the unique needs of every client. My goal is to help you rediscover a sense of clarity, peace, and meaning, both within yourself and the world around you.
